Obama’s Former Advisor Just Gave The Best Response To Scaramucci Losing His Job

Dan Pfeiffer, former Communications Director to President Obama, offered his take on Twitter this afternoon following the firing of Anthony Scaramucci from the Trump administration.

Scaramucci resigned from his position in the Trump White House less than two weeks into his tenure as Communications Director. His departure is due likely to the many controversies that surrounded his short time as head of communications for Trump, including suggesting his former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus may be the source of White House leaks, details about the birth of his son and his wife’s filing of divorce, and suggesting that a trusted Trump adviser, Steve Bannon, is full of himself.

“I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock,” Scaramucci said in an interview last week.

Scaramucci’s short tenure when contrasted with Pfeiffer’s with Obama is quite comical indeed: Pfeiffer served as Communications Director for most of the former president’s first term, and was moved to Senior Advisor for Strategy and Communications following Obama’s successful re-election campaign in 2012. He remained with the administration until 2015.
