Fox News contributor and Trump supporter Tomi Lahren had to apologize on Wednesday after she posted vulgar insults directed at Democratic Congressman Joe Kennedy III of Massachusetts.
Kennedy gave the Democratic response to president Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, during which he noted that “many have spent the last year, anxious, angry, afraid, we all feel the fractured fault lines across our country.”
But apparently, that didn’t sit well with Lahren.
Lahren attacked Kennedy on her social media accounts, calling the lawmaker a “nasty little ginger” and “that little limp dick” in two videos during his speech.

Lahren also went after Kennedy on Twitter, saying he resembled transgender activist and athlete Caitlyn Jenner.
“Is it just me or does Joe Kennedy III look a helluva lot like pre-Caitlyn Bruce Jenner?” she tweeted.

Lahren apologized generally for comments she made on social media on Wednesday.
“My comments on my personal Instagram about Kennedy’s response were inappropriate and I take full responsibility for that,” Lahren tweeted. “I got too upset. I sincerely apologize.”

According to The Hill, before she joined Fox, Lahren was “permanently banned” from her former employer, conservative publication The Blaze, for alienating her co-workers.
